The Chancellor's Outstanding Staff Awards (COSA) are presented each year to individuals and teams from our staff community who, in addition to performing their normal job duties with excellence, demonstrate exceptional initiative in contributing to the Berkeley campus community. These awards are among the highest honors bestowed upon staff by the Chancellor.  This year's recipients were recently recognized at a 4/25/23 awards ceremony. 

In a campus email on April 21, 2023, the Berkeley Staff Assembly announced the recipients of this year's Excellence in Management Award recipients.

We would like to extend special recognition to the following recipients within the Administrative (VCA) Division:

VCA's first Town Hall Meeting for Directors and Managers since 2020 was held virtually on Thursday April 13, 2023 from 10-11:00AM. If you missed it, here is the recording.

Hosted by Vice Chancellor Administration, Marc Fisher, a panel of presenters and 1-minute "lightning round" speakers provided updates in the following areas:

Congratulations to these ten (10) VCA leaders who were recognized as recipients of this year's Excellence in Management Award (EIM).

On 3/30/31, it was announced that Chancellor Christ has approved a new Campus Master Plan that establishes a renewed long-term vision for the physical development of the Berkeley campus. It has been more than 17 years since the campus approved such a plan.
