As Berkeley’s chief administrative officer, the Vice Chancellor for Administration (VCA) supports Berkeley’s academic mission through strategic policy and managerial leadership of campus operations.
The VCA is responsible for leading a division with over 1,800 staff whose jobs include human resources, information technology, facilities management, capital strategies, police, supply chain management, research administration, sustainability, disability access and compliance, parking, and other administrative functions that support the campus mission.
The agenda for the VCA includes transforming the campus’s operational efficiency and effectiveness while supporting the Chancellor's goals.
