In a design to bring more support to two smaller units, Vice Chancellor has asked the Business Contracts & Brand Protection Office, under the leadership of Michèle Huff; and Property Management & Library Bindery, under the direction of Eric Anglim; to report into Supply Chain Management and Chief Procurement Officer Russ Chung. This new reporting will begin on February 1.
Supply Chain Management delivers best value business and procurement contracts, transactions and advice, while ensuring the highest level of compliance with UC policy and applicable laws. Business Contracts & Brand Protection oversees business contracts for the Berkeley campus and provides guidance on trademarks and intellectual property. Property Management oversees post-purchase processes associated with many of the physical goods required by the University including delivery, inventory management, sale and disposal, and moving services.
This realignment has been designed to foster new efficiencies and improve service to campus. Both Huff and Anglim will continue to serve and advise the Vice Chancellor on the Administrative Division Executive Leadership Team.
