The Assistant Vice Chancellor & Chief of Staff provides strategic guidance, advice, and decision-making on behalf of the Vice Chancellor, Administration, relative to strategic resource planning and budgeting, short- and long-range policy development, priorities, communications, change management, and high-level analyses of programs and initiatives across the entire Administrative Division. With expert knowledge of organizational processes and protocols within the complexity of higher education, the Assistant Vice Chancellor & Chief of Staff will be a trusted consultant and advisor to senior leaders, a strategist, administrator, team leader, and a sterling communicator with sage, dependable political acumen.

The University has retained Caldwell, a national executive search firm, to assist with this search. Acceptance of candidate materials will begin immediately and the ability to apply or nominate will continue until the position has been filled.
