Lori Tannyhill has been named the Regional Director for Region Six.
Lori spent the early part of her career at UC Berkeley in operations management at International House and then spent 15 years with Deloitte Services as its West Region Business Advisor, National Meeting Services. In that role, Lori planned and executed more than 150 events per year and was the primary service contact for 14 Managing Partners.
In 2014, Lori returned to UC Berkeley and has served as Service Director with Campus Shared Services since her return. In that role, Lori served as the primary point of contact to resolve service issues with campus clients, including Professional Schools, Organized Research Units, and administrative units. Lori has extensive experience with Berkeley policies, processes, and business systems, involving: research administration, human resources, academic personnel, and business and financial services.
Berkeley is restructuring Campus Shared Services from one large center to six clusters or “regions” aligned by academic discipline. Five regions supporting schools, colleges, and organized research units have been identified, and one region, Region Six, will support administrative departments and other academic units. With Lori's appointment, all six service regions now have Regional Directors on board.
Lori is a graduate of UC Berkeley, having received her BS in Clinical Nutrition.
