Chancellor Carol Christ was the honored guest speaker at a Campus Town Hall meeting on Tuesday, October 9, in Pauley Ballroom. More than 500 staff managers and directors came to Pauley Ballroom to learn more about the Chancellor's priorities and vision for Berkeley and to ask questions about campus projects, issues, and strategies.
Joining Chancellor Christ in sharing remarks that day were several campus leaders including:
- Vice Chancellor, Administration Marc Fisher – discussing the service region implementation and introducing the new Chief Procurement Officer Russell Chung, and new ADA / Section 504 Compliance Officer Ella Callow;
- Vice Chancellor, Finance, Rosemarie Rae – discussing the campus budget, financial strategies, and capital planning;
- Associate Vice Chancellor, Facilities, Sally McGarrahan – presenting an overview of the team and responsibilities in Facilities Services:
- Assistant Vice Chancellor and Chief Human Resources Officer, Jo Mackness – updating the audience on the UCPath implementation.
At the conclusion of the speakers, Town Hall participants were invited to stay and visit a dozen tables staffed by campus departments with services and programs of interest to ask questions directly.
