April 27, 2015

Campus Shared Services IT was recognized as a runner-up for the Excellence in Customer Service award by SSON, an international organization of shared services professionals.

In introducing UC Berkeley's award, one of the organization's judges, Debbie Vander Bogart, Head, Global Shared Services, Levi Strauss & Co., explained: "We are acknowledging a team in their infancy when it comes to Shared Services, but they have really knocked it out of the park in terms of creating value with customer service at the forefront. Through various initiatives they have achieved overall satisfaction scores greater than 90% and net promoter scores of 80%."

With over 83,000 members, SSON is the largest and most established community of shared services professionals in the world. Established in 1999, the organization has international offices in New York, Singapore, Sydney, Johannesburg, Berlin and Dubai to research current trends and developments in shared services, and reflect these to SSON members to aid decision-making.
