About the BPM Office
The Business Process Management (BPM) office provides portfolio and project management, process improvement, and change management services to ensure alignment and accountability of strategic projects in support to the Vice Chancellor of Administration and associated units, including the newly-formed service-delivery regions.
The BPM Office has been assembled from existing project management, business process improvement, and business transformation personnel to offer a comprehensive look at the organizational improvement efforts happening in the VCA Division.
BPM’s current focus includes assisting with the successful rollout of the service regions and providing support to the UCPath implementation. As a key part of the team’s mission, BPM is providing direct project management and process support for key regional strategic projects such as the ASE/GSR Hiring process, the PostDoc Hiring process, the I-9 Tracker, and the Regional Support Platform.
BPM is introducing a project portfolio management approach across the service regions which will enable leadership to make informed decisions on resource allocation, assess progress relative to goals and objectives, and allow for strategic alignment between all areas within the regions and Administration.
